After heading Decision Associates for more than 35 years, Don turned his focus to client needs in mergers and acquisitions as well as succession and exit planning. He is the author of several leadership and management books and has presented regionally and nationally on a wide range of business topics.

As the owner of Decision Associates since 2020, Aaron Phillips leads a team of consultants committed to helping both businesses and nonprofit organizations “be better than they thought they could be.” Aaron brings more than two decades of experience to his work in succession, strategy, recruiting and organizational development. His background includes senior leadership roles with a publishing company and an international corporation. Aaron’s extensive work with business succession has led to a natural transition to the mergers and acquisitions practice.  He has worked with companies looking to make strategic acquisitions as well as organizations interested in selling.
