Is Now The Time To Sell Your Company?

In the past couple of years, quite a few business owners we know have paused to wonder, “is now the time to sell my company?”  Our response is most always a very well-considered “it depends.” For example, a company with annual sales of $12-20 million can be quite attractive to potentials buyers – your territories, customers and employees all have significant value. However, your past three to five years of EBITDA, the condition of your facilities and equipment, ownership of proprietary designs or products and other factors also need be considered. This assessment of your “readiness to sell” is key to attaining the multiple you have in mind.
